1379860 Poly - (fluoroalkoxyphosphazene)- polymers HORIZONS RESEARCH Inc 17 Aug 1973 [28 Aug 1972] 39036/73 Heading C3R The invention comprises poly-(fluoroalkoxyphosphazene) polymers of formula where n is from 50 to 50,000 and Rf is a perfluoroalkyl radical which may be linear or branched and which contains from 3 to 11 carbon atoms. The polymers are obtained by reacting RfCH 2 OM, where M is an alkali metal, with a poly-(dichlorophosphazene) polymer, in a solvent. Examples are given. Uses.-Films and coatings.
