<p>The fully automatic transport system has punched card controlled transport units in a traffic network. The system utilises the advantages of the railway, motor vehicles and pneumatic tube transport within a single system. The traffic network has branching points with switching points having no moving parts. The travelling direction is determined at branching points by the guided wheels on units. The branching point switching points can guide vehicles on common horizontal plane or on vertically displaced planes. This system can be used for transport of posts, goods and passengers.</p> |
