<p>The spreader for wounds is used in surgery for keeping operation wound open during operation for ready access. The spreader has a frame (1) of different sizes with a standard profile (7). Several hooks (2) consisting each of a hook and trough are clamped on the frame by connectors. The trough profiles are moved normal to the frame profile. The clamps consist of slotted body and screw with knurled head. The frames, hooks and clamps can be made with larger dimensions for larger operation areas. The trough is slidable in an open channel which allows only radial movement. A knurled screw adjuster locates in holes along the trough length.</p> |
