PURPOSE:1,3-Diene oligomers, comprising an abandance of trimer to hexamer and a small amount of polymer, are prepared by the reaction of 1,3-dienes in the presence ofcatalysts comprising of thej cobalt salt of an organic carboxylic acid, an iron compound and an organoaluminum compound.
