Automated packaging of butter or margarine - using packaging foil guided over filling nozzle and forming bag holding the contents

The packaging foil is guided over the filler nozzle (3) and held there in such a position that the foil projects beyond the free end (9) of the filler nozzle (3). The filler nozzle is then rotated around its axis during which the packaging foil is wound around the nozzle. During the winding operation the projecting section of the packaging foil is folded towards the free end of the nozzle in such a way that a bag for the reception of the pressed out product is formed. Finally a carton (30) or other packaging container is put over both bag and nozzle.
