<p>In a device for the simultaneous heating and/or annealing of several continuous strands, e.g. wires, cable, rod, strip etc. each strand or wire, etc. is provided with a measuring and control device for individual adjustment of the heating voltage and/or the speed of the strand in the heating zones. The pref. measurement ueses temp sensors to adjust the heating voltage and/or strand speed. The heating current is provided via contact rollers or pairs of electrolyte baths through which the strands or wires pass, the electrolyte being pumped through the baths. Used e.g after wire drawing, for continuous annealing prior to lacquering in high speed mass prodn.</p> |
