<p>Detachable wall panels (1, 2) which are joined end to end, are clamped together by two profile strips (4). The strips are bolted together such that the panels are trapped between them. Each panel has two rows of partially punched out lugs (6, 7) which provide locating steps which fit into longitudinal grooves (10, 11) in the clamp strip (4). When the wall panels (1, 2) are joined together in this manner, any load that might occur, parallel to the panels and perpendicular to the clamping strips, is taken up by the location lugs. Thus, even with heavily loaded panels, only moderate clamping force is required.</p> |
