<p>The heater is for highly viscous mediums, or mediums with viscous or solid particles. The medium passes through a pipe, which is surrounded by an external heat carrier. The pipe (4) has constrictions (8) and expansions (9), staggered relative to each other by 90. The expansions are outwardly curved, and decreas in size in the direction (7) of the medium. The expansion and constrictions merge gradually into each other. This ensures that the medium, which is thick and may be food e.g. mash, twists and turns to ensure heating throughout its vol. as it is pumped through the pipe.</p> |
