<p>An automatic watering device for potted plants, window boxes or similar, employs a hollow body (5, 11) which is filled with water and which is connected to a water dispenser or applicator tube (7, 12). The discharge end of the tube is inserted into the soil (2) in the plant pot or window box, near the root of the plant to be watered. A total water capacity of some 50-100 cm is provided per device. The tube is a plastics tubing preferably transparent. The water container may carry a set of graduations.</p> |
