The housing, for communications equipment, is locked into a system of parallel support rails as in 2443122. The front and rear of the housing (1) have projecting, sloping blocks (6, 6a) at their top and bottom edges. These projecting blocks are set back away from the border of the front control panel. U-shaped retaining brackets (13) have screws (8) that screw into the opposite ends of bars (12) beneath or above the housing and orthogonal to the support rails (11). The arms of the U-brackets locate over the projecting blocks and beneath the rails as the screws are tightened. The housing is thereby held it the rails.
