<p>A system for extraction of waste heat contained in hot water, in partic. bath water, etc. is constructed such that the heat contained in the warm water waste is transferred to cold water by direct thermal transfer before the cold water passes to the boiler unit. The hot water containing extractable waste heat is passed through the cold water in a counter current flow system by means of a heat exchanger device in which the cold water passes from a low level to a high level through the warm water flow.</p> |
