A circular saw system, having twin counter rotating saw blades for use in sectioning wooden or plastic sheets, has one blade mounted behind the other. The first cut blade is height adjustable relative to the second saw blade. A control cam (9) projects into the path of motion of the first cut saw blade (5) to deflect it downwards before its exit from the material in the horizontal direction. The saw blade (5) then emerges at the exact intersection point (10) of the horizontal plane (1a) of the material sheet with the vertical plane (11) running through the edge of the sheet.
