Mechanical handling of glass panes - during mass prodn. of panes and distance pieces for double glazing

The device has a pivot table located at the end of a roller track on which horizontal insulating glass panes are carried. The pivot table swings the panes into a vertical position and feeds them into a multi-compartment trolley which can be moved at 90 degrees to the freed direction so all the tall, narrow compartments can be filled. The novelty is that a distance piece with unhardened adhesive is located round the edge of each pane and the assembly held in peripheral clamps; the bottom clamps rest on a rail which can be adjusted for height and is mounted on a walking beam which feeds a pane into a compartment. Each compartment is fitted with two bottom rails supporting the bottom clamps holding the pane complete with the distance piece and unhardened adhesive.
