The demountable door case is made up from mitre-joint-assembled shanks of shaped material, with a flange on one shank fitted with an inward projection, and the corresponding next flange with an inside fixing plate, parallel to the wing, with an inward facing wedge side running towards the first flange. When the case is assembled, this plate can be pushed in to lock behind the projection, while a closing wedge can be slid parallel to the wing plane to engage the projection. In this addn. to 2105950 the closing wedge (18) can be driven inwards; and an opening (24) for it to pass through, is incorporated on the outside edge (5) of the case flange (5). This opening may be on the upper side of the horizontal case shank (1), so that the closing wedge can be driven downward from above. By this means the case shanks can be fixed together from outside.
|
