<p>The automatic lubricant and coolant dispenser for use in swarf-removing metal machining, has a cam (2) on a machine component which at the commencement of a work process releases adjustable pressure, hydraulic fluid pneumatic force or electrical power to a dispensing unit, thus causing the requisite quantity of lubricant or coolant to be fed out. The cam (2) functions in phases and for time durations as may be required at the work commencement point. A grooved disc accommodates the cam, and the system includes an inter-connected valve, distributor and control valve. The medium is contained in a cylinder under constant pressure with a release valve (7).</p> |
