The releasable securing arrangement for an electric sensor for indicating IC engine crankshaft angles, partic. TDC, assumes that sensor (3) to be cylindrical, inserted through a hole (2) in a casing (1) and to have a flange n5) to limit its travel and prevent contact with the rotating trigger (4). The arrangement comprises axial, rectangular section, grooves (6) cut into the periphery of the sensor body, into which are inserted leaf springs (7) fixed at one end but free at the other. These springs have a bend (7') causing them to project outside the sensor body and, in use, engage in a circular groove (8) at the end of the access hole inside the casing. The other end of the access h ole has a tape (9) to facilitate insertion of the sensor.
