<p>A rigid binding between the housing (1) and the foundation ensures that the electrical machine is duly supported on the designated foundation (4). Should the load exceed a stipulated value it is taken up by spring pieces (11, 21). The rigid binding can use shear pins (7) as the connecting elements. The spring binding can contain leaf springs (11). The latter can be made adjustable in height to suit the possible loading requirements. Alternatively, the spring pieces (11, 21) can be of various construction of different elasticity. In an application the weight of the housing (1) of a vertical, electrical driving motor for a pump is carried via spacers (2) to the pump housing (3) and then to the foundation (4). The facing surface (5, 6) of the housing (1) and spacers (2) are joined closely so that the latter take all the weight.</p> |
