<p>The grinding machine is suitable for grinding paper cutters, shears, planing tools etc. The knives are held on two magnetic tables which are mounted next to one another in the machine bed. Alternatively, mounting tables with T slots can be used for securing the knives. The tables can be rotated about their axes either singly or in tandem by worm drives. Rows of cutters are mounted on each side of the table. The grinding wheel (2') with its drive is moved to and fro on rails (3') over the tables on which the cutters are mounted. The grinding wheel is ring-shaped with a large diameter, so that it spans both tables at once.</p> |
