The concrete waste pipe has a sludge collection chamber and a lateral discharge opening all made in one piece from non-reinforced concrete e.g. gravel concrete with Portland cement as a binder. The pipe comprises a base part (12), walls (14) and a top section (16) incorporating a conventional discharge opening. The sludge chamber has a concave bottom (24). The top section (30) of the pipe has a thickened wall of constant cross-section located shortly above the outlet (22). A circular ledge (28) is formed around the inner top circumference of the pipe within the thicker wall section.
