The invention relates to a portable self-contained device for, in equestrian showjumping competitions, entering on the course, storing and outputting to a printer the results of each competitor, providing through calculations an aid to the competition juries for ranking by card index, calculating at any time those at the top of the provisional ranking, calculating and outputting to printer the final ranking of the events in accordance with the ruling of the Fédération Equestre Française (French Equestrian Federation), transferring a while later or as and when the stored results to a management computer for the streamlined compiling of documents intended for the Federation. This device includes a cabinet containing microprocessor-based electronics with displays, keypads, built-in printer, serial output for the remote control of a giant display, serial output for linking to a management computer. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for equestrian showjumping competitions. It is distinguished through very great ease of use. <IMAGE> |
