<p>An audio-visual teaching machine which utilizes diapositives having certain answer code indication applied on the frame, and a magnetic tape recorder. Logic circuitry controls the tape transport in such a manner that the tape travel is arrested, when an interval occurs in the recorded and reproduced message or lesson, the duration of which interval is greater than the duration of intervals normally occurring in a flow of talk. The tape travel will not continue until the participating student has answered the question given at the end of the lesson.</p> |
