Regrinding machine for metal cutting circular saws - has clamping arrangement compensating out of plane deviation of saw blade

The regrinding machine is used for circular saws whose teeth are thicker than the saw blade. The saw is rotated about its centre and it is clamped close to the base of a tooth before it is moved along a grinding wheel. This machine is esp. for sharpening of circular saws with carbide teeth. The axial position associated with an out of plane deviation is maintained in a clamped position in relation to the centre of the saw blade. The movement of the grinding wheel is carried out without regard to the out of plane displacement relative to the axial position of the centre. The centre of the saw blade is mounted on the central mandrel. A support is arranged close to the cutting teeth base circle and the saw blade is pressed against this support.
