PURPOSE:To enable a user to easily participate in automatic performance and to obtain a toy-like fun by modulating output musical tones by external voices. CONSTITUTION:Melody sound signals and accompaniment sound signals are discretely outputted in accordance with prescribed sequence from a musical tone signal generating circuit 2 and only the melody signals are inputted to a modulating circuit 14. The voice signals generated by the user are sent to the modulating circuit 14 when the user utters singing sounds to a microphone 18 in conformity with the accompaniment tones. The envelope signal of the external voice signals are extracted from these signals and the melody sound signals are varied in level and are outputted in the circuit 14. The melody sound signals modulated at the levels of the external voice signals are formed at each of respective frequency ranges in this way and are sent to a sound producing circuit 22. |
