<p>Direct electromagnetic method of locating deposits of hydrocarbons, which can be used on land, on the sea or in the air, consists in forming a space/time code based on a series of harmonic frequencies and/or temporised impulses. On the basis of a number of feeder electrodes, an inductive feed loop, measuring electrodes and magnetic antennae, a codified spatial system is set up. The codes of the electromagnetic field in the zone being explored, and then measured and processed on the basis of analytic algorithms, so that a picture of the deposits of petroleum can be built up. Method improves considerably the probability of a correct decision as to the location of a test hole, and the result is obtd. more quickly and at less expense then by conventional geophysical methods.</p> |
