<p>The link and support ring for suspended overhead electrical cables, which have no insulation. The arrangement has an open link secured to a jaw like structure. The support structure facilitates the fitting and demounting of the ring and cable. Two jaws are shaped to secure the cable the overal shape is a shallow wedge. Both upper and lower section have four holes serving to accept bolts holding them around the cable. The sides of the jaw group are recessed to take the free ends of the open approximately oval supporting rings. The bolt ends are linked in two pairs by 'S' shaped locking wires.</p> |
