Precast concrete frame for doors or windows - has clearance at back of ledges and sills with chamfered jambs and lintels

The precast concrete frame may be used for windows on doors. At the back of the ledges (for windows) or sills (for doors) is a clearance, which eliminates thermal bridges. The front surfaces on jambs and lintels are chamfered and have a granular surface to allow for adherence of the rough-casting. Tabs for attaching internal joinery are cast into the concrete during the initial moulding process. The upper part of the lintel has a shoulder to prevent water from soaking in.
