<p>The automatic steam pressure cooker for restaurants permits the continuous preparation of food dishes. The cooker comprises a drum (1) which is sub-divided into six compartments by rotatable radial walls (5, 6, 7, 8). Three of the compartments (9, 10, 11) are for cooking, two (22, 23) for depressurisation, and one (15) for loading. The radial wall structure (5-8) is rotated by motors within the outer vessel wall (1). A particular cooking compartment (11) may thus be rotated through the depressurisation zone to the loading bay (15), whilst pressure and cooking conditions are maintained in the remaining compartments. Friction seals may be provided between the radial walls (5-8) and the external drum walls (1).</p> |
