Electronic dice for board games operated by pressing a button - with delays indicating result for a certain time after button release

The dice consists of a six-position cyclic electronic counter (C) which receives pulses (from IG) only while a gate (SP) is open and a button (WT) depressed. This counts too fast to be controlled by the button. By the invention, the release of the button closes the gate and stops the counting, and also sets up a delay (T1) which must elapse before the result is indicated. The display is held for a further time (T2) before the gate is re-opned and the button again becomes operative. Thus the button cannot effectively be pressed twice during the same throw. A variant serves for games that use more than one dice. Another provides a button for each player and a relay circuit to make them operative only in proper sequence.
