<p>PURPOSE:To improve measuring efficiency and measuring control and to suppress measuring error caused by any environmental change by previously setting a reference point in view and calculating the amount of shift between a face, where upper and lower flanges are faced each other, and the reference point. CONSTITUTION:In view 26, a video 80 of the lower flange is displayed on the downside together with a reference mark at the center for expressing the reference point. A shift amount Lc is calculated from the amount of shift between the lower face position and the reference mark (+). Next, it is decided whether a measured inter-flange dimension L is within an allowable dimension range Lo+DELTAL<=L<=Lo-DELTAL or not. When it is within the allowable range, the next step is started and when it is out of the allowable range, the further next step is started. These discriminated results are turned to control outputs from a controller 18 to a selector 38, in the case of a good product, it is moved to a designated palette and in the case of a defective product, it is moved to a collection palette.</p> |
