<p>PURPOSE:To reduce number of times of key depression by decreasing number of times of opportunities in an error of menu selection by a ten-key when a maximum item number of menu patterns is in the order of 2-digits or over. CONSTITUTION:In the menu selection method in which a relevant item is selected from a menu 10 by depressing a ten-key by N (N is an integer being 1 or over) times, when the number N is set to 1, a confirmed frame 80 is displayed around items 'K6', 'K1' corresponding respectively to key numbers '6', '1' based on one key depression (figures (a, b)), when the number N is set to 2, an unconfirmed frame 70 is displayed around items 'K1', 'K2' corresponding respectively to key numbers '1', '2' at the 1st key depression (figures (c, d)), and the confirmed frame 80 is displayed around items 'K13', 'K20' corresponding respectively to key numbers '13', '20' at the 2nd key depression. The similar operation to above is executed when the N is set to 3 or over.</p> |
