A spray or dispenser type head for use with a container which holds a fluid or content which is to be sprayed has a closure cap (3) which is attached to the aperture at the top of the container vessel. A dip tube (20) runs down from the closure cap (3) and ends below the level of the cutouts (19) of the container. The dip tube (3) has a spray valve which is situated at the end opposite the end below the medium (19). An externally operated air pump is provided to generate an excess pressure in the hollow space (17) above the fluid level (18) in the container (1).
