<p>The cap for a pressurised gas bottle can be inverted over the fittings above the bottle neck and fixed to an annular groove in the bottle neck by means of a pair of safety strips (2) which snap into the annular groove. The locking strips (3) can be permanently connected to the cap (1) and engage resiliently in the groove when the cap is placed on the bottle neck. Each locking strip has hook (11) and button (10) ends, and is fixed in the wall (5) of the cap. The strips are spaced apart and parallel to each other, extending through the interior of the cap and stradding the bottle neck. The strip ends fit through openings (4) in the cap wall.</p> |
