<p>The body of the silo vehicle is divided into three compartment. The two end parts are cylindrical and designed for the transport of liquids, and the middle part has a square cross section and is suitable for the transport of loose materials such as grain. The two end parts (3,5) are connected by the middle part (4) which has a roof-shaped bottom formed by inclined plates (12,13). The vertical walls (16,17) of the middle part have fold-down doors for emptying the loose material. Emptying of the liquid cargo from both cylindrical front parts is carried out via openings in each end of the respective cylinders. The fluid flows into the space under the roof-shaped chute. The bottom of the middle part has a base with slightly inclined plates draining towards the centre line of the vehicle.</p> |
