Deforming adjuster for contact springs - has different shapers and pressure pin associated with spring clamp

The adjusting of contact springs is carried out by permanent deformation, affecting the spring characteristic. A clamping device is provided for holding the springs one side, and has an associated shaper element of variable configuration and a pressure pin. The free region of the springs is located between the shaper element and the pressure pin which can move reciprocally in the direction of the spring long axis in relation to the shaper element. Pref. the holder is displaceable in three planes. The outer contours of the shaper element correspond to a cylinder envelope, at least in the region facing the springs. This envelope may be frusto-conical.
