The invention relates to a diaphragm valve with an adjustable closure stroke stop, the diaphragm (7) being actuated via a valve spindle (4) by means of a hand wheel (2). Arranged between the hand wheel and the valve housing (6) is a threaded nut (3) which is screwed onto the external thread of the valve spindle. The threaded nut is furthermore connected positively to the hand wheel and is thus taken along when the hand wheel is turned to open and close the valve. In the closing direction, the threaded nut comes to rest against the housing and thereby forms a closure stroke stop for the threaded spindle and the diaphragm.
