Froth trap for vapour from distn. plants - handling e.g. chlorinated hydrocarbon mixts. with water

The froth trap consists of a housing divided into several chambers by perforated inner walls. The housing is located between the still and a downstream condenser. A liq. collection chamber in the lower part of the housing is connected to the still by a separate pipe. Overflow of froth is prevented without the use of foam-suppressing chemicals.
