The UHF/VHF receiver for a T;V; set accommodates various tuner standards by grouping certain components onto a special board using a mixture of thin an thick film techniques. This board is located inside the same housing as the rest of the components. The components carried by this special board are the HF filter block, the tuning circuit of the oscillator, the switching diodes required for changing the frequency band, and the tuning diodes with their attendant resistor networks.
