<p>1467696 Hoof and claw cutter RHEINTECHNIK WEILAND & KASPAR KG 10 Oct 1974 [11 Oct 1973] 43873/74 Heading A5R A hoof and claw cutter comprises a pair of blade holders 3, holding blades 2 at one end gear wheels 6 at their other ends, and a pair of handles 9 having sleeves 10 and gear wheels 6' at respective opposite ends such that they mesh with gear wheels 6 to form a reduction gear to transmit movement of the handles to movement of the blades with increased cutting force to allow one-handed use. Cover plates 4 on either side of the gears are connected by hinge pins through the centres of the gear wheels to hold the handles and blade holders together. Adjusting screws 1 enable the blades to come together on closing and a limiting screw 8 prevents overriding of the blade.</p> |
