<p>1512456 Gyanohydrazinecarboxylic esters; 3-hydroxytriazoles CIBA-GEIGY AG 27 Aug 1975 [29 Aug 1974] 35411/75 Heading C2C Novel compounds of formula where R 1 is C 1-6 alkyl or C 3-8 cycloalkyl which may be linked to the N-atom by 1-3 CH 2 groups, and R is C 1-4 alkyl are prepared by reacting a compound R 1 NHNHCOOR with cyanogen chloride, and are then cyclized under alkaline conditions to give triazoles of formula where R 2 represents C 1-6 alkyl which may be linked to X by 1-3 CH 2 groups, C 3-6 alkenyl, C 3-6 alkynyl, or a benzyl group optionally monoto disubstituted by alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio groups each having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, halogen, trifluoromethyl or nitro, and X represents oxygen, sulphur or a group >N-R 3 , wherein R 3 denotes C 1-6 alkyl group, C 3-6 alkenyl, C 3-6 alkynyl, or together with the radical R 2 and the adjacent nitrogen atom it denotes a 3- to 7-membered ring.</p> |
