<p>The pistol is for driving nails or tacks ets., into leather travel goods, tapestries etc., and is designed to obviate the tendency to buckle nails and features two stage nail driving and separation from magazine chain. The tool incorporates a charges or magazine for a chain of nails arranged with stems parallel and indirectly joined by a neck level chain, and detaches from the chain one link and nail at a time. This nail is fed into the pistol barrel and the nail is partially driven, the chain link ejected and the nail finally driven home. Two interlinked nail chains are utilized with the charger articulating w.r.t. the pistol about the magazine centre-line.</p> |
