PRODUCTION OF MATERIAL HAVING HIGH DIELECTRIC CONSTANT

摘要

PURPOSE:To reduce the porosity of a sintered body without increasing the dielectric loss and to obtain a material having a nearly uniform high dielectric constant by subjecting the sintered body obtd. by presintering ceramics to hot isostatic pressing in an oxidizing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A sintered body obtd. by presintering ceramics under a prescribed pressure is subjected to hot isostatic pressing in an oxidizing atmosphere. The porosity of the sintered body is preferably regulated to <=6%. The ceramics may be any oxide ceramics used for microwaves.
