Regulation of fluid pressure - controls nozzle blanking piece by metallic membrane operated within elastic limit

The pressure regulator has an orifice which is closed by a shutter controlled by movement of a metallic membrane. It has a body (1) in which a chamber (2) is closed by a base (3). The upper part is closed by a metallic disc membrane (4) which is retained by a ring (5). Fluid enters the chamber via a nozzle (7) against the action of a blanking piece (8). This piece is attached to the membrane (4) by a pillar (11) and flexible blade (12). The pressure regulation setting is controlled by a screw (25) and spring (14) operating against the membrane. The ring retainers prevent the metal from being forced beyond its elastic limit.
