<p>A mechanical loom, in which a crank shaft drive is provided for the chain and sprocket connection of the rollers on the angel lever and the central part of the sley, is improved in that (a) the surface profile cam revolving with the drive shaft is a double cam which operates an angle lever fitted with two cam follower rollers and (b) the angle lever is directly coupled by a connecting bar to the central part of the sley, in order to achieve positively controlled, at least approximately harmonic reciprocating motion of the sheet holder - sley central part.</p> |
