The invention relates to a support for at least one coil wire of an electromagnet, especially for use in electromagnetic valves, consisting of a hollow cylindrical support section, the ends of which are fitted with stops defining the axial position of the coil. The diameter of the support section (1) has a step (3) which is bounded on both sides by the coil wire (2) with different winding layers and into which the coil wire (2) is forced.
