摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to measure the specific gravity (density) of diffused boiled liquid at a specified temperature. SOLUTION: In a device for measuring the specific gravity of diffused boiled liquid 2, the temperature of the diffused boiled liquid M contained in a crucible 8 is kept at the specified temperature by heaters 12 and 14. The lower end of a sleeve 10 is immersed into the diffused boiled liquid, and the space at the outer surface and the space in the inside of the sleeve 10 are cut out by the diffused boiled liquid M. Therefore, when argon gas is supplied into the crucible 8 through an Ar pressurized pipe 8b, the surface of the diffused boiled liquid at the outer surface of the sleeve 10 is pushed down by a height H, and the surface of the diffused boiled liquid in the inside of the sleeve 10 is pushed up by a height (h). When the value (P2 -P1 ) of the difference in atmospheric pressures at the inside and the outside of the sleeve 10 is divided by the value (H+h) of the height of the diffused boiled liquid M at the part that is lifted up in the sleeve, the specific gravity (sensitivity)ρ0 of the diffused boiled liquid is computed. When the measurement of the height of the diffused boiled liquid and the measurement of the difference in atmospheric pressures at the inside and the outside of the sleeves 10 are precisely performed, the specific gravity of the diffused boiled liquid is accurately computed.
