When the feeding of further sheets from a supply is stopped jack 46 lowers the roller 61 to contact the sheets remaining in the conveyer system of which roller 71 is a part. The passage of the last sheet allows roller 61 to approach roller 71 closely enough for switch 67 to be operated by the arm 62, and to cause the completed stack to be discharged.
