The machine deposits a strip of glue in a closed pattern on a flat surface, particularly a motor vehicle headlamp reflector. It incorporates a frame with vessels accommodating a resin and a hardening agent (12, 14), each of which is connected to a mixer unit (16) with a nozzle at the lower end (18) by which the glue is deposited. The nozzle is fixed in position in relation to the frame (10), on which there is a support (20) for the work, movable in accordance with the outline of the latter. A guide is fixed to the support and has internal cam tracks of shape corresponding to the work outline, working against a guide roller on a shaft whose axis is in a fixed position.
