<p>Each bus and each bus stop is equipped with electronic transmitting and receiving modules. The time of departure of each bus from a stop is determined by data transmitted to the stop from the preceding bus. The system is composed of units fitted to each bus and ground mounted modules which are mounted at the bus stops. The unit on board each bus has a transmitter which permanently transmits coded messages to the terminus. The ground mounted modules include a receiver and a logic circuit associated with a timer. This indicates at the arrival of each vehicle, its departure time as a function of the departure time of the preceding vehicle.</p> |
