The camping keetle looks like a large mug with a handle and is of double cavity walled (1, 2) construction. The inner cup (2, 3) constitutes the water receptacle and the inner space between the bases (3, 4) of the two vessels accommodates either solid or paste fuel. Perforations (6 to 9) are provided in the vertical cylindrical walls (1) of the outer vessel to permit fuel insertion and ignition, and air flow during combustion. Two diametrically opposed holes (6, 7) immediately above the outer vessel base (4) are for fuel insertion. A series of smaller holes (8) on the same circumference permit combustion air ingress. Further perforations (9) towards the top of the outer vessel walls promote the drawing of the fire together with the deployment of heat to the lateral walls (2) of the inner vessel.
|
