<p>A Heat content indicator device for use with an electric storage heater, having a heat sensor which changes dimensions when exposed to heat which is mounted within the interior of the storage heater and with an indicator to display these dimensional variations, has the heat sensor in the form of a metallic wire (1). One end of the wire (1) has an adjustable screw drive (3, 4) which projects outwards through a hole in the heater side wall (5). The other end of the wire (1) is connected over a pulley (7) to a right gauge (9) and is then moved by a spiral spring (13) to the other housing wall (5).</p> |
